Monday night, we stopped early due to the weather conditions. There was a theater across the street from our hotel so we went to see a movie - Just go with it. We woke to a very frozen Show Low Az. After we slipped and slid out of the parking lot the roads were in good shape. We had a nice ride through east central Az to the Petrified Forest National Park and the Painted Desert. I have posted a few photos and will post a few more tonight. We ate lunch in the park before heading east on I-40 to Gallup then on the Albuquerque. Spent our evening getting the rental car turned in and all our belongings repacked for the flight home. Tuesday morning we took the hotel shuttle to the airport and made our way back to Lafayette. I must say it was sad to end this great trip but it was very nice to sleep in our own bed!
Next trip is to Branson for a business meeting in March then in April the annual trip to Gastons in Flipping Ar for a White River fishing trip.
