May 2014

May 2014

I did not do a very good job of my photo documentation of events in May.

Here's what I've got

We started the month with a farewell dinner for Landry.

On the first of May,  Nap and Shirley joined us for Shrimp po-boys as we bid farewell to Landry.

He flew out on May second to New Jersey were he attended a wedding for one of his Michigan classmates.

Then off for a week of reflection in Las Vegas before returning to Iraq.

We spent much time in early May working on our landscape.

We celebrated Weston's first birthday with the Guringer's.

Ollie catching some fish !

The kids find a cool play space inside.

Later that day we attended the Mathews / Vanhoof Family Reunion

There was LOTS of rain in May .

Parts of Lafayette (including our office) experienced some flooding.

Baton Rouge was not spared.  As you can see below, the rain did not detour the Pasquiers.

We attended a few games as LSU Baseball suffered through multiple rain delays only to be eliminated in the regional.

These photos may not look like much but they represent a job we completed connecting the Caddo Parish Jail to the Courthouse.

There guys successfully bored over 1600 feet crossing under 12 Mile Bayou.

The last weekend in May, Kristin Carbo, Oliver and Evelyn came to Lafayette for a visit.

Sara, Mick and Peter spent the weekend with us as Mike and Kristen joined some friends for a weekend in NOLA.

Nathan surprised everyone when he joined the party Friday afternoon.

We had a wonderful weekend with Kristin, Nathan and all the grand kids!!

Going for donuts.

Headed to the pool

Almost there

See ya in June
