Goodbye winter !!!!

Debi started off the month by keeping Sara, Mick and Peter for the weekend while Mike and Kristen attended a Navy function in NOLA. 

I had a fishing trip to Toledo Bend scheduled for the same weekend.

Most of the month was spent getting the landscape back in shape.

Our fountain was first to get some TLC.

Fountain is back !!

Next we worked on the wall-scape.

All our ferns and ginger died back.  The ferns in the wall baskets had to be replaced.  We added a few new palms and ferns under the Magnolias.

Gingers are coming back !

The front is still looking good for now.

There is a loud buzz around our holly tree as the bees attack the blooms.

 Tiger's started SEC play.

We made it to the Saturday Georgia game.

We ended the month by attending the LSU 2013 Rainmakers Awards Banquet.

Mike was awarded the 2013 Emerging Scholar Award.
