June 2013

June began with lots of family around.

Landry returned from the Arkansas Oil Field.  Looks like he will be around for the remainder of the month then off to Kuwait.

Kristin, Nathan and the kids came in for the weekend.  Kristen, Mike and their kids spent the day with us on Saturday.  Nap and Shirley joined us for a late lunch.

Later we took the kids to the pool for a little cool down.

LSU Baseball

LSU was a regional host site in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.

We were lucky enough to score some tickets for the Sunday Final - LSU vs ULL.

It was a bit warm at the start but cooled off quickly.

We were treated to a great game, big crowd and an LSU Victory !

June 8th

Took the boat out Saturday morning for a quick fishing trip to Chicot State Park.

Had a rough start, flat on the trailer and dead battery.

Made it to the water a little later than we had hoped, then back on the trailer before 1pm.

Only put three fish in the box.
