May 2013

Saturday May 4th, 2013

Once the rainy days of May cleared the weather turned beautiful.

We took advantage of the cool temps and blue skies with a trip to the Atchafalaya Basin.

The Pasquiers gear up for the boat ride.

Here we go..

Fishing under the I-10 bridge.

Turned out the bait was more fun than fishing.

MeGees Landing has live music every Friday and Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. We stopped in for lunch.

After lunch we did a little boat riding through the Swamp.  This area is where people park homemade house boats..

Jeanie and I attended the closing sale of Mom's home.  It was a sad occasion but at the same time a very happy event as we shared in Ms Loraine's excitement.  Here we are with Jeanie, Loraine's sister and brother-in-law, Ellis Saybe and Ms Loraine.

6113 Rachelle was ready for its new occupant.
